Stage2 Parents/Guardians/Families

Stage2 does lots of things to support members and their families and their journey through Stage2. This page should help you identify these systems and tap into some of the resources available to Parents/Guardians/Families.

Stage2 Parents unofficially support us through social networking sites Facebook and Twitter – please feel free to join/follow either of these to get hints, tips reminders etc...from Parent Peers.

This Facebook Group is run by, and for, parents and carers of Stage1/2 kids. This group is independent of Stage2 Youth Theatre Company. As parents/carers we'll endeavour to keep you updated with information and reminders which are useful to us in keeping up with what our kids are doing with S1/S2; where they need to be, when, what they need to bring etc, etc...!

Coffee Events

Stage2 also hold regular coffee mornings/afternoons (to coincide with the collection or drop off of your child). Any parents/guardians can attend these coffee and catch up. The dates for these events are publicised on our Diary sheet, via posters on our noticeboard and slips on our Print Table as well as on the diary feed here on the website.

There is a lot of information that is given out at Stage2 each week so it is important that your child keeps you up to date with all this information and passes on the relevant Newsletters, Costume sheets, Collection lists, Call Sheets etc...There are also spares of all general company information on our Print Table in Reception so you can check that when you collect your child each week. There is spare show information kept in a box by either the Stage Manager or the Production Assistant. There is also a list on the Personnel Board in Reception of what information has been given to everyone, please make sure your child uses this as a double check.

There is also lots of information on this website so please do have a good look around to find the information you would like and also so you can have a look at the history of Stage2 (it is very exciting).

Stage2’s office hours are weekdays between 10am and 6pm (+ evenings and weekends when we have our sessions and productions). If you contact us outside this time then please leave a clear message and we will get back to you within our office hours.
