Information: It can be quite daunting joining a new company, especially on the first day, so to anyone out there who is thinking of joining on their own...don't worry! From the moment you arrive you will meet the Mentors and be assigned your very own Mentor Buddy for the first term: they will talk you through what Stage2 does and will be there to answer any questions or help you out during your first term with us. What we usually find is that after a few weeks, new people have made friends within the company and the Mentor is there to help with any queries or questions.

The Stage2 Mentor scheme was set up 4 years ago and has gone from strength to strength ever since. The Mentors are all carefully selected and are there to help new members acclimatise to the company and provide help and guidance for everyone. You can't miss them: they're the ones in the bright red t-shirts with the word MENTOR on the front! They get trained up in Mentoring skills and spend the whole year helping everyone, from members to tutors!

This year we were very proud to be awarded the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation's Approved Provider Standard - the first youth theatre to get this - which means we provide an excellent and accredited Mentor Scheme to the members of Stage2.

If you have ANY questions before you even join Stage2 you can ask the Mentors anything via the Stage2 Mentor email: feel free to drop them a line
