I have always been interested in drama from when I was little. I heard of Stage2 from my brother’s friend Alex Butler. I went to see Twelfth Night and I was amazed! I really wanted to be a part of Stage2 so I joined. My favourite show so far has been Shakers. You felt really immersed in the play as the story was brilliant and the cast was huge. I actually felt like a guy in a nightclub! I loved playing my character and working with others in the play. I’m really looking forward to playing Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. Stage2 has given me a plethora of skills that has helped me in all areas of life. I’ve become more organised, more committed and more confident. I hope to use what I’ve learned in Stage2 to give me an edge in whatever career I do in the future. I love the community of Stage2. Everyone is friendly and looks out for you. Also in Stage2 you are given so many opportunities. As well as acting I have also played a part in helping market Stage2 in the committee. It’s an awesome experience and you really feel proud to know that you are a part of helping market the company. Also I started doing LAMDA exams in the Summer Term. At the moment I’m doing Grade 3 Musical Theatre. Before I joined Stage2 I hated any form of musicals. Now I really enjoy watching musicals and acting scenes for my exams. |
