Information: I joined Stage2 because I was interested in Drama but I had never had any experience, I was always interested in performing because I went to a Dance School before I joined Stage2. Also, I knew a lot of people that went to Stage2 and they always tried to persuade me to join but I put it off for ages because I was under confident with being introduced to new people and places and I had no idea what it would be like but all the people that I knew that went there told me how great it was and now I’m disappointed that I didn’t start sooner. My favourite time in Stage2 was when I was cast in Shakers. It was the first production I auditioned for and I knew the play quite well. When I got cast as one of the four waitresses, I was really surprised but I worked really hard and it paid off and from that point on, I get involved in as many performances as possible. Even though I had been in the company for quite a while before I auditioned, I still felt like I had a lot to learn about the company but when I auditioned I realised that the sooner you get involved in the company, the more you get out of the company. Now, I take every opportunity I get from Stage2 to experience as much as I can and I might have thought differently if I didn’t audition for Shakers because during that term I made new friends that I will never forget and I learnt so much about acting so it has boosted my confidence a lot. My favourite aspect of Stage2 is that, even though there are so many people of different ages from different backgrounds, we all share a love for an aspect of Stage2, such as drama, meeting new people, socializing and/or just having fun! There is such a friendly atmosphere at Stage2 and everyone is really polite and caring. This term is the first term I have done a LAMDA exam. I have wanted to LAMDA for a really long time but till recently I’ve never really realized what it involves and I didn’t feel I had enough experience or confidence to do it. However, as the terms went on I went to the LAMDA evenings and I really enjoyed every single performance and the people that performed looked so good and proud, so I thought I’d try it and now I am really enjoying it and have already decided to do it next term.
At the moment I am also a Mentor, which I am really enjoying!

Mastery of the script, as is expected of Stage2. (Much Ado About Nothing)
