Information: After being at Mac Youth Theatre for a year I was searching for another Youth Theatre to join. However, as my search progressed I was reunited with a member who shared the same interest as me in drama and informed me about Stage2. It wasn't long until I found myself sitting in the admin room amongst others engaging to what Stage2 has to offer. My first term was Spring 2008, which was the term of 'Teechers'. After being/seeing many shows I was remarkably overthrown by the unique style and high standards Stage2 presented. The experience was exciting, excellent and enthralling nevertheless achieving, as I found myself learning new skills and making friends relatively easy. After a term or two I finally built up the determination and courage to audition and to my amazement was casted as Tommy Owens in 'The Shadow of a Gunman'. I was thrilled when I was cast and had an amazing and fulfilling time throughout the process, it was then to be followed up by Francis Flute in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Although I was slightly concerned about putting on a tangerine frock and a face full of makeup, all in all I had fun and enjoyed the term. I look forward to my final terms with Stage2 as I will be taking upon my final challenging role as a Mentor which consists of more responsibility, commitment and organisation and therefore I can give something back to the company. It will be a rewarding progress as I will not only have the learn basic skills but also in depth helping to guide me both within and outside of Stage2 but also in the future. Looking back over the time I have spent at Stage2 I have noticed how Stage2 has made me develop and mature and see life with a positive attitude.

Mastery of the script, as is expected of Stage2. However many times I see this ever changing young company, I am amazed by the wealth of talent.
