Information: My friend had tried to make me see Stage2 shows for years, but for some reason unknown to me, I never went. Eventually I just thought “Forget it, I’ll join the company. Might as well give it a go!” and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I won’t lie and say that I wasn’t nervous, but people still made me feel welcome and did everything they could to ensure I wasn’t uncomfortable and enjoyed my time. In my first term, I did the chorus of the show at the time, Daughters of Albion. It was good fun, but the next term I decided to do General Drama, and get involved with the Fund-Raising Committee. It was a lot hard work being member of the Committee, but I still enjoyed it. In Autumn 2007, I did my first LAMDA exam. LAMDA’s incredibly beneficial, and I was happy with the result. It was also in Autumn 2007 that I went to Butlins for the first time. Butlins is absolutely AMAZING, if a little hectic. I went to Butlins again in Autumn 2008, and it was just as brilliant as the first time. But it was in Autumn 2008 that I first started to get involved with the company in greater detail, when I got my first cast role in The Shadow of a Gunman. I also joined the Marketing Committee, and the following term began LAMDA again and got another cast role in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Stage2 is unique in the way that it gives its members so many opportunities, but you’ll only get out of it what you put in; and choosing to become more involved with company has been one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had.

This is a show that leaves you gasping for adjectives. It's vibrant, happy, tender, sexy.(Godspell)
