I heard about Stage2 from my 3 brothers, all of them have been in the company. My first impressions of the company was I thought that it was very good even before I joined as when I watched the plays they were very good. When I joined I was really impressed with how good the technical training was particularly in the technical workshop. The technical workshop helped me learn more about sound, lights, stage management, and all the backstage roles. In the performances I have learned how to operate sound live on a main house stage. This taught me lots of experiences I thought I would never know.
I also enjoyed Lord Of The Flies production week, this is the week leading up to the performance, it taught me loads of experience which I am sure will help me later on in my life. At my time in Stage2 so far I have done the technical workshop, sound in two plays, the big lottery project, and cast in A Midsummer Night's Dream. I have enjoyed everything I have done at Stage2 loads. I'm always meeting new people, learning new experiences and teamwork. I hope to learn more as I process through the company. I have taken part in a few extra things in Stage2 including Butlins; which was my most memorable experience. Butlins was a fantastic week, 40 people went there for 5 days, and this was fun and exciting for the whole 5 days. It was one of the best times of my life. I met loads of new people I never thought I would know. I hope to go there again and have the same experience. |
