It all started when I went to my school’s Careers Fair and the usual Royal Air Force was there along with British Gas etc. But there was one, which caught my eye, so our group went off to the Stage2 section, as they were talking about the amazing shows they have done and they had some booking forms and some books with some information so I grabbed one. When my dad got home I told him about Stage2 and showed him all of the information and he knew I really wanted to do drama. So he signed me up. It was great the first day as I just walked into Millennium Point and it was so friendly people were coming to talk to me. The first show I did was Lord of the Flies, which was directed by Liz Light and it was one of the best things I had done and just by being in the show I can remember all the characters. I am really proud of being in Lord of the Flies and Liz and everyone in the show made it an enjoyable experience. I have gained confidence to do things and I also have been involved in the Marketing Committee. I look forward to coming to Stage2 every Saturday and either being in the show or in the workshops. I am on my third term and I am glad I have found Stage2; it is like a big family. |
