Information: I joined Stage2 when I was 13. I've been doing stunts since I was 6, and have been working in TV and films since I was 9' my biggest role being 'Lyra's Stunt Double' in The Golden Compass - but have also worked on Batman Begins, and have done documentaries and kids TV programmes for CBBC and Disney Channel. Acting had always been recommended to me. Everybody had always said that it would help, so I got to the point where I thought 'just do it'. I was looking online for youth Theatres' and Stage2 was actually the fourth that I saw but it was on a Sunday, so I chose it. I joined Stage2 on the second day of the autumn term. I was really scared but I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was really nice and the acting part wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I always thought that I would hate acting, but Stage2 has definitely changed that! In my first term I did general drama and we did the History of Theatre. It was really interesting and I really enjoyed it. (I found out in the Sharings of that term that I like performing.) I went to go and see The Crucible and thought that it was amazing & then I decided to audition for Teechers. I figured that I had nothing to lose, and was cast as a member of the class the next term. My best moment in Stage2 was definitely becoming a Mentor. I have really enjoyed every moment of it, from the interview to the training, to the meetings. I like the responsibility that comes with it and I love the fact that people will come to me for help and advice. The morning I found out that I had been accepted. I was so happy! It?s one of the things I have achieved in life that I am most proud of, and that I would never change.

The acting of every single one of the children / young people was excellent; the sound and lighting were expertly handled; and the direction was superb in all respects.  Spoonface was a production that would not have disgraced the West End
