Information: The best thing about Stage2 for me is progression! I started out, not realising how much this company did and just doing the occasional general drama, but then I moved to doing a production of 'TWO' and being in my first show ever! I've always loved drama and wanted to be able to act on a professional stage and Stage2 made it so easy and exciting! I then was hesitant about doing the hard hitting 'Crucible' the next term and was thinking of doing general drama with my friends, but I decided against it as I knew I would be making new friends in this group. I also started staying afternoons to do as much as I could and I did LAMDA, which sounded very daunting, but then it turned into an interesting and fun lesson every week. I got my first cast role in 'Teechers' and got to run around stage acting as a 16 year old naughty school kid, it was amazing and so much fun! Since then I have been cast in 'Lord of the Flies', become a Mentor and worked on filming in 'Shadow of a Gunman'. I have joined the marketing committee and am working on selling t-shirts for the company members that 12-year-old, and me Katie Booth has designed. Now I am on my 4th cast role in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' am the assistant of costume for the show, I am on my grade 5 acting in LAMDA and joining the fundraising committee. Last term I was invited onto the trainee tutor scheme as Company Assistant, which was the best thing that ever happened to me! I love Saturdays so much now! I get to see my friends, work with children of all ages, prepare for a fantastic full-scale production of a Shakespeare comedy, and work on the promotion and funding for the company! It's a lot of work, but Stage2 is a place where work becomes fun! I can't imagine life without Stage2 now, I'd be so bored!

I feel not only proud, but incredibly lucky to have been part of Stage2.
