We are aware that sometimes we might use words/terms that are new to members  - here is a basic list of some of the most common. Don't be afraid to ask for explanations at any time; we try our very best to be all inclusive, whilst still teaching you useful professional lingo!

Tech Rehearsal

Time for the Backstage Team and professionals to finalise all lights and sound around the actors and to ensure everyone is safe and knows where to be, when.
 

Theatre Checklist

A list of all entrances, exits and practicalities (eg height of platforms etc) to check in the performance space.
 

Wings

Areas to each side of the stage where you wait before you enter and where the props table is kept.
