What’s the difference between being Cast and Chorus for a show?

Answer

Cast take the main named roles in a show and they have the most lines in the script. They also tend to be on stage more and lead the scenes. Cast have to attend every session and may also have some additional rehearsals in the week, depending on the production. Members of the Cast are selected through auditions.
Anyone can be Chorus just by signing up on the first day of term. The Chorus work as an ensemble and will have set scenes throughout the play. In the Chorus you will work in groups and develop your own character with back story etc. Chorus help to set the atmosphere of scenes and add extra special and great visual impact. It is part of Stage2’s identity that we produce huge scale productions where every member plays a vital part.

Storytelling with a difference - funny, too - but far deeper than any comedian would dare. Dowie is definitely worth catching.
