What is Production Week?

Answer

If you have decided to be in a show then you have committed to attending production week. Production week falls at the end of each term and is the week that we spend in the theatre, performing our play. Production week starts on the final Saturday of a term and ends on the final Saturday evening – after the cast celebratory meal!
Production week consists of;
-    The final run at Millennium Point.
-    The ‘Get In’, for the Technical Team, at the theatre.
-    The Technical Rehearsal (everyone involved) at the theatre.
-    The Dress Rehearsal (everyone involved) at the theatre.
-    The Performances, each evening and sometimes a Saturday matinee (everyone involved)
-    The Cast meal after the last night
You MUST attend every day of Production week (this is a Health and Safety requirement), so please check that you can attend before you commit to a show. A diary sheet is given out at the start of each term with the Production week dates on them but they are all known well in advance and you can ask us if you would like to know them early to book holidays etc.

If anyone can do it, Birmingham's Stage2 can!
