What do you have to do to get a certificate?
Answer
In Stage2 we give out certificates to company members at LAMDA evening. The certificates fall into 3 categories;
ATTENDANCE
Level 1 – One slot with
Full 12 weeks attendance (nothing preinformed)
No lateness (inc preinformed)
No leaving early (inc preinformed)
Full attendance at any agreed* extras
Punctual at any agreed* extras
Level 2 – Two slots as above
Level 3 – Three slots as above
Level 4 – Four slots as above
The slots are no longer incremental – they are all now “stand alone”; i.e. a morning session is one slot, and an afternoon session is another. Committees + their tasks count as one slot each. Main Casts are now eligible for Level 2.
* At all levels, any agreed extras to do with the option i.e. extra cast rehearsals, the Sharings,
committee project meetings, Distribution Days, production week etc will all count where dates/times have been set and agreed with you in advance.

NB You can get more than one certificate in one term but not in the same category

A list of recipients will be displayed on the Noticeboard at least one month before the presentation and these members must confirm their attendance when they buy their tickets.
Stage2 is an inspiration. The way it engages young people in drama through the sheer enjoyment of acting is a role model to which we should all aspire.Simon Woods, Chief Executive of Birmingham School of Acting. |
