What is the Marketplace and why do all Stage2 members have to do it?
Answer
The Marketplace is the first thing that happens when members arrive as they walk through Reception, either at 9.30am or 1.30pm. Every member of Stage2 must make sure they have registered on the appropriate list, read the different notice boards, bought any tickets, checked the print table and taken anything they need, as well as spoken to everyone who is sitting down - doing a task that week. Because there is so much going on, it is vital for our Safeguarding Young People’s Policy and educational procedure that we know who is in the building and that all members know what is happening. Everyone must take pen and paper with them as they go round the Marketplace to make notes to ensure they remember all of the information. Members to need to take personal responsibility for keeping themselves and their families up to date and informed. The Personnel Board, clear signage and T shirts show who can be consulted about any area and members should ask any queries as soon as they arise. It is also important to us that we keep our photocopying under control and minimise replacements – as well as saving time in communal ‘admin’ allowing us to focus on delivering sessions.
It's brash, it's naughty, it's unapologetically over the top, and it's another undoubted hit for this young group (Twelfth Night)Evening Mail |
