Stage2

Expectations

One of the really rewarding things about Stage2 is knowing the work you are part of is of an exceptionally high standard.

We are only able to maintain these standards with the co-operation of our members - therefore we have high expectations.

ExpectationsWe expect everyone to:

  • Make sure no one is left out at any time
  • Be positive and have a good attitude
  • Take advantage of opportunities
  • Do things the first time you are asked
  • Be responsible for yourself and ask someone if you are ever unclear
  • Bring pen and paper and keep all handouts and notes together in a file
  • Help us to publicise both the shows and the company
  • Have respect for all tutors, visitors and other members as well as the spaces and equipment you are working with
  • Feel part of a company and think about Stage2 between sessions
  • Be on time and pre-inform (let us know in advance) if necessary
  • Take personal responsibility for catching up on work/info you miss
  • Give us feedback verbally, in writing, through our comments card system, anonymously, publicly ‚it's up to you

For me Stage2 is more than just a theatre company, it is a community. It has given me a direction in life. A place in which for the first time I have felt truly accepted‚ A place in which I can honestly say I have had more wonderful moments in a year than I have had in my whole life.
