"Stage2 do a very decent job performing the intrigues of a small town cast rehearsing The Beggars Opera. Jeremy Hancock as the outwardly ebullient Daffyd Llewellyn subtly hints at the manís self-doubts and Katie Hayes the director's Swiss army wife powerfully conveys the woman's desperation. The rest of the cast, particularly Jess Colman as the sexually veracious Fay, are all very good and the rehearsal scenes are deliriously funny. Director Liz Light makes ingenious use of the Bedlam Theatre Space. " The Scotsman
